Every year the SIngapore F1 GP gets better and better.
It is not just about the race but it is a whole entertainment event.

This year there was no "F1 Rocks" concerts but the organisers arranged for concerts to be held over 3 days within the track before and after the race so it was a case of "one-ticket-sees-all". So you had the likes of Mariah Carey, Missy Elliott , Adam Lambert, Sean Kingston, Daughtry, Chippendales etc to choose from.

For us, it is also a social event to meet old friends at the track.

The race this year was nonetheless exciting with plenty of incident and with Ferrari's Alonso winning, we were not too disappointed as red Bull's Vettel and Webber came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Plenty of incident too with the Lotus car catching fire,an ill-tempered Hamilton throwing his steering wheel away in disgust after crashing out.

Adam Lambert, yes..the dude that should have won Season 8 of American Idol and yes; Adam Lambert; he who is as bent as a boomerang performed at the Singapore F1 GP and gave a flaming performance.

He does have an incredible voice and performs very well; live.

The Spore F1 GP this year had no "F1 Rocks" concert like last year but instead had performances within the race track area.
The likes of Mariah Carey (Yawn!), Sean Kingston (Boo!), Missy Elliot (Woohooo!!) performed over 3 days of the race.

We thought the most entertaining would be Adam Lambert and we were right.

MyCousinAlanGetsHitched

One of my favourite cousins, Alan got married to Sylvia Tan on 17th September at Resorts World in Singapore. I was privileged to have been the signatory witness to the wedding.

It was a small but beautiful event and it was good to see Alan's dad; Uncle Fred after a long time.

Welcome to the family, Sylvia; we are pretty dysfunctional but we are cool..haha !
